Simon Archer will lead a 9 mile circular walk starting at Timble using an Ilkley Community Transport minibus for the first time. Meet at Burley Station at 10.00.

To cover the minibus hire and fuel costs, there will be a £6.00 charge per person.  Space on the minibus is limited so please book your place by email at [email protected]. Remember to bring a picnic lunch and cash for the minibus.

Leaving Timble to reach the Washburn Valley, we will make our way through woodland to reach Little Alms Cliff Crags. We will then follow quiet lanes, paths and tracks to Beaver Dyke Reservoir and John of Gaunt’s Castle, before returning to Timble via Swinsty Reservoir. Refreshments may be had at the Sun Inn before getting back to the bus.
