David Asher will lead this 5-mile walk exploring the footpath network between Guiseley and Menston. We will be catching the 10.00 train to Guiseley, so please meet at Burley Station at 9.45.
From Guiseley Station, we will walk to Ings Lane and across fields to White Cross to reach the edge of the High Royds estate.  Following the footpath up to Thorpe Farm, we will walk along the base of Odda Hill passing High Royds Hall, before dropping down Derry Hill above Menston. We will then go down Bleach Mill Lane then, if not too muddy, follow Carr Beck back to Burley for refreshments at Cockpit Farm tea rooms.  This is a low-level route with gentle gradients on good paths and tracks. Some paths may be muddy in places.
