Transport will be provided if the stones are unsafe to cross. From Askwith we will head towards Clifton before following the picturesque Washburn Valley to Swinsty Reservoir. There are some stiles. Please bring enough to drink and wear suitable clothing and footwear. Meeting the Swinsty walking group at the Washburn Heritage Centre, we will aim to arrive for lunch at 1 pm, followed by a talk about the Washburn Valley at 2 pm given by a local historian. Ilkley Community Transport will return the group back to Burley by about 4.30 pm.
