Bleach Mill Walk- Burley Walkers are Welcome

All walkers will head off towards Stead via Moor Lane and Moor Road to walk along Stead Lane with its lovely views across Wharfedale and Burley Moor. Those opting for the 3 mile walk will return to the village via Catton Wood and Sun Lane, whilst the longer walk will head towards Ben Rhydding, before dropping down to Sun Lane. The 3 mile walk should reach Burley Library by 12.00 and the other group a little later. There are no stiles, but field paths are likely to be muddy.

The Greenway walk- Burley Walkers are Welcome

The 3-mile walk in December will follow the route proposed for the Wharfedale Greenway.  Meet at Burley Station at 10.00.

Leaving Burley using Otley Old Road to Launds House Farm, we will use field paths before crossing Otley Golf Course to access the Greenway.  We will then follow the old railway line as far as Holme Grove before using ginnels to return to the village. We will visit Cockpit Farm for refreshments. There are no stiles, but the fields and parts of the Greenway may be muddy.
