Here’s a fun, spooky way to be active with your kids. Follow the trail around Ilkley town centre for a chance to win a £25 Ilkley Gift Card. Featuring a series of eerie locations, search for the spooky posters in shop windows and scan the QR code on each poster to unlock the answers to the trivia questions while discovering spine-tingling facts.
How To Take Part
1. Download the LoyalFree app from either the App Store or Google Play store. (links above).
2. Choose tours & trails and start the Spooktacular Trivia Trail.
3. Choose your location from the list and head over the Ilkley shop to locate the trivia poster in their shop window. Scan the QR code to reveal the answer.
4. Reveal the answers at each location to be in with a chance of winning a £25 Ilkley Gift Card. 1 scan = 1 entry into the prize draw.
5. Find the hidden letters to make an anagram. Enter the anagram for an extra chance to win!

Women's Ride- Ilkley Cycling Club
Witchy ride Out and about in True Witch County. The Pendle Witches ride again. Not a long ride, but it gets the feet in, and we end October with a spell binding bang. Roughly 17 miles with 2241 feet of climb.
The ride goes through Barley, Downham, Sabden and Newchurch. The route takes us over Pendle hill and back into Barley and the wooden hut café in the car park. The villages decorate up and there’s a real sense of Halloween, Witches and ghostly themes.
Fancy dress not essential, but certainly you need at least a broomstick on your bike. I will be in full witch outfit on the day, including my Black Cat.
The pace will be slower than normal at about 7 -8 miles per hour because of the hills. We will cycle at the slowest riders pace. This is very much a social ride.
Please ensure your brakes are fully working as there are some great descents
Please ensure you have a rain jacket. The and if wet also overshoes.
Women's Ride- Ilkley Cycling Club
The annual 22 mile ride to, hopefully, see the salmon leaping at Stainforce Force. we have to leave the bike, so please bring a bike lock. Lunch will be at the Knights Table Caravan site café. Clothing appropriate to the weather forecast. More info here>

Fun cycling skills session with a BC-qualified coach. Mini riders (45 mins) starting 5.30 – 6.15. Mini Improvers 6.15 – 7.0pm. Youth Riders 6.15 – 7.15. Cost £3 / £4 Attendance by booking here>
Lower Wharfedale Ramblers- leisurely walk (3-5miles)
New walkers are very welcome on our walks.
- We meet at the start of the walk, the start time is the time we set off so arrive early in time to put your boots on!
- If any members are at all concerned about the walk (distance, level and ascent for example), then please do not hesitate to contact the walk leader before the walk.
- Sorry, no dogs allowed.
